Min Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Health, or related field. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Job Summary:

The Regional Manager for Government Verticals in the Beauty and Wellness sector will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key government accounts, and ensuring the implementation of government-related beauty and wellness projects across the assigned region. The role involves working closely with government departments, public sector bodies, and industry partners to promote beauty and wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Strategy:
    • Identify and pursue business opportunities within government verticals related to beauty and wellness (e.g., public health campaigns, vocational training programs, and wellness initiatives).
    • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve revenue and growth targets for the region.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, public sector bodies, and industry stakeholders.
  2. Account Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for government accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication.
    • Manage ongoing government contracts and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of government projects related to beauty and wellness services.
  1. Sales & Revenue Generation:
    • Achieve sales and revenue targets for the beauty and wellness services offered to government clients.
    • Lead sales negotiations and manage the tender process for government projects.
    • Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to the needs of government bodies.
  2. Project Management:
    • Oversee the execution of government-funded beauty and wellness programs, including public health and vocational training initiatives.
    • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet government standards.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions as necessary.
  3. Market Research & Analysis:
    • Analyze market trends, government policy changes, and budget allocations within the beauty and wellness sector.
    • Identify emerging opportunities in public sector health and wellness campaigns.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for adapting business strategies to capitalize on market shifts.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of sales and project management professionals within the region.
    • Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations for team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment.

Key Requirements:Experience:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within government verticals.
  • Experience in the beauty, wellness, healthcare, or public health sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of managing government accounts and securing large-scale contracts.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and public sector regulations.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Leadership abilities to manage teams and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
  • Other:
    • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Knowledge of local government health and wellness initiatives will be an added advantage.
